Each year, the Waldheim Missions Conference becomes a launching point and lifeline for missionaries connected to the Sask Valley region. Through prayer, encouragement, financial support, and shared vision, this gathering deeply impacts those serving around the world. When you attend, you’re not just listening—you’re participating in and supporting the Great Commission. Your presence helps send, sustain, and stir up workers for the harvest.
Dorothy and I want to express our thanks and blessing to you! We thank God that you as a conference and churches have been called to sponsor the Missions Emphasis Community Conference!
Over and over, we talk about how we should encourage and support younger missionaries, and we think you are doing just that. Just a short personal testimony: years ago, as a youth, it was my desire to attend the WMC, but it was not possible. Once I did manage to go, when the conference was held in the school auditorium, and those meetings greatly impacted my life and calling of the Lord.
We also want to thank you for the financial gifts! Two years ago, you helped with a Radio Satellite project that is now up and running—our digital stream is broadcast 24/7 across Bolivia. This year’s (2025) project is focused on Quechua radio ministries and production. The team plans to expand to more broadcasters and build a new studio for radio and podcast production. We will be eternally grateful for your part in the building of the church in Bolivia. Our ministry has always been one of open doors—welcomed by the Guarani and later by the Quechua people in Santa Cruz. That ministry today numbers more than 60 churches.
The story of the Low German ministry is similar—we were pulled into it by request. It took 3 years to get the first Low German Bible. Back then, there was no music, so we started producing our own. Today we have around 4,000 songs, and there are many more groups now producing music. Menno Christian churches have sprung up across the region, now preaching, singing, and teaching in Low German using the Bible.
The Quechua radio ministries came later and are now in full bloom! We thank God, and we also thank the WMC for your support and encouragement.
